fired clay

The sculptures in this series are not meant to last forever, they are made to be placed in nature, become part of it and if necessary dissapear in it. I see the environment as a vital part of my sculpture. Nature becomes a temporarily claimed environment but at the same time it claims the sculpture and becomes the new creator. By surrendering to the unpredictable processes the sculpture comes to a dialogue with the environment. The moment I place my sculpture in the environment I lose control over the continuation of the process.
